A giveaway.

To celebrate 100 posts & one whole year, on Monday, I thought I'd join the giveaway movement. I am always amazed by people's generosity, what a kind lot you are, but I was thinking well, I can't give too much away, I need to use all my stash that I've carefully saved for well, maybe up to 14 or so years, for all the trillions of collage/hangings cushions & cuffs that I plan to make to earn my living, for, well, pretty much the rest of my life looking at the amount of stuff I've got! So, I do have a bit to share, after all.

There's some new fabric, a little bit of my painted fabric some new & recycled (carefully washed if a little crumpled) fabric & organza, a selection of found papers (the date on the Chinese paper is 1999, just before we left the metropolis of, well, anywhere but here really! Some of my papers, some yarn, a foot of inches, hemp & a bit of rust & eucalyptus leaves if you fancy a tiny bit of eco dyeing. There's a gift of one of my brooches which I hope you enjoy wearing or pinning up somewhere you can see it occaisonally.

I shall hopefully draw the winner on Monday 29th, at about noon, shortly before I go to work. Please leave a comment here just giving me an idea of what you would do with one of these things & if you're a follower I'll put you in twice.

A whole year of chatting to the wide world; I've loved every minute of it!

I had a go a moon photography, I'll keep practicing ;) ! It's been amazing on the water these past few clear starry nights.

Ooooh, what a fantastic giveaway! Please enter me! So many possibilities of what to do with everything, I really want to try using my sewing machine to make some collages. Probably using the fabric and papers, would love to try some eco dying and add that in too. Possibly would make some Christmas decorations for the house and maybe even some paper beads for jewellery! See, I told you there were so many possibilities! :) x

Fantastic photograph! I took a few of the moon the other night, need to see what they look like, but a view over the back gate will not compare to the beautiful setting you have used.
Congratulations on blogging for a year. Please do count me in for your give away. Hope that it is not too cold up there.

Wonderful stash giveaway, 100 posts sneaks up on you fast doesn't it.
I think we all have a stash that could last 14 years or so....hasn't the moon been fabulous. Over here it is the beaver moon for all the beavers get busy before everything freezes over, which today at 29F isn't far away. xox Corrine

Congratulations on a year of blogging and 100 posts Emma. It has been fun following your journey and getting to know you and I would love to play with the eucalyptus leaves and do some dyeing. If I were to win I'd send you some swaps from my stash so you're not losing too much of your potential for the future :-) xx

Emma that giveaway looks fantastic - it's not about the amount- to me it's about sharing a little of what is important to you and your creative life. I don't usually use any papers but I would love to give it a go with fabric in a journal. It all looks yummy! 100 posts ago you were just a newbie and now look how far you have come and all the new friends you have made. Congratulations!

Oh I can just imagine how beautiful that moonlit water must be in front of your house! Your giveaway looks very exciting! If I won it I'd take some time off from my regular makes in January and treat myself to a little experimenting with mixed media and natural dying : )And I'd most certainly wear the brooch on my purple coat!

Please put my name into your hat, I would love to win your giveaway. I will give you a warning, if an overseas person wins your giveaway (such as myself)it might not be wise to include the dried leaves, they might be prohibited from being sent through the mail. Not that I would tell on you and it would likely not be opened and discovered. I'm just telling you so you can think about it.
I'm glad you are blogging because I enjoy following your journey.

Congrats on reaching 100 posts Emma - I've very much enjoyed reading them - great being in contact with people from all over the world.
I'd probably do some sort of collage too with your treasures and I love brooches.
Just a word of warning: not good to send any plant material to Oz or NZ - customs would likely confiscate the package or fumigate it!

Emma--just got your nice note...I have to say that I've never heard the expression 'bums in my balls' before, but it is highly descriptive and surely destined to become one of my favorites!!:)
Reading your 'favorite movie' list makes me think we're a bit of kindred spirits. Have you seen Kinky Boots or Priscilla Queen of the Desert?? Absolute favs!! XXO-
