One week till I hang!

Well, I'm nearly there, so many last minute things I should have done by now, but I'll get there , I hope :)

At one of my craft fair a couple of weeks ago I made these earings, 6 earings in 6 hours! - sold a couple & lost one it turns out, when the marquee blew away but I've got 3 cheery ones left!

It's been fantastic weather, so hot! I'm getting a little tan - tho I'm being careful, so many lobsters around, including my children, who now ask me to put suncream on, one when he goes off into the hills with friends & one while he studies outside (?)so I'm working in the garden for a bit early in the morning or later after supper. I've finally made a space to put my broadbeans out! I got my kind DH to strim a path in the croft garden down the road which is looking beautiful but you can hardly get in there for growth.

 bluebells & cow parsley

 apple blossom

cabbage in beautifl flower - the bees love it & they're wonderful in salad ;)

 My little helper

I'll be making some fused plastic letters out of the above bags to spell out 'exhibition' as last year my poster got a litte damp in the 'A' boards - I can't see this weather lasting for ever!

Forgive the short post, so much to do........

Emma! I feel as if I've forsaken my old blog buddies. I was just going to go out and try making some fabric things for a change and then what do i see but some earrings of yours along the lines of what I would like to attempt. I guess your earring was some sort of sacrifice to the creative gods and will return to you multifold in some form or another.
i skipped my market today between it being a holiday weekend and gray skies I opted to stay home and do some planting.
Nice to see what you've been up to!

The bluebells and the cabbage look beautiful and I'm assuming it's the cabbage flowers you're eating in the salad not the bees! ;-) sorry, warped sense of humour! Good luck with your exhibition, I hope the sun keeps shining.

I love those earrings! :)

When I lose one, I sometimes make the one left over into a pendant. Either that or I pair it with something funky and mismatched.

Everything looks so pretty - it is getting a bit bleak here atm as Winter is knocking on the door. I am sure your event will be a great success! Remember to exhale every now and then!

I hope someone finds your lost earrings and loves them. Lovely photos of the flowers. Glad you are enjoying your weather. I like how you have displayed the earrings for the photo, I might have to make myself some similar to yours. funny title to this post, btw. Good luck!

Lovely earrings. All you need now is someone with three ears. Your surroundings are looking very lush and inviting.

I have just discovered your lovely blog via your Workshop on the Web which I have printed off, and am looking forward to trying out your technique. What a lovely part of the world you live in - all that natural beauty.
Belated congratulations for your 30th anniversary.

VERY cool earrings - they look good for people who can't wear heavy ones (like me!). Love your garden path, too...what a view.
