Crissi at random-ramblings-of-a-crafter sent me an alternative postcard, from Essex, UK. It's quite remarkable, a mixed media piece where she's put down a richly colored medium of some sort & pressed stamps & drawn into it revealing exciting layers hiding underneath, all on a canvas wrapped frame. More flowers & more love, wonderful!
I am enraptured, thank you!
It's been a mixture today of bright sunshine & a Haar rolling in. Earlier it was just whispy bits round the middle of the hills, now it's a complete whiteout! So here is some more blue & purple from the garden.
Aqualegia, allium in amongst rosa glauca, geranium pheum, honesty, siberian kale (they are coming out tomorrow!) & geranium. I know I'm showing off - note there are no sign of weeds, isn't that cropping tool marvelous!
Lovely flowers, plants. That postcard is fabulous, fascinating.

ReplyDeleteGlad it got there ok Emma loving your flowers looks like you have a wonderful Garden,I'm so jealous of that gorgeous blue sky you have been a bit grey here warming up in the afternoons though.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your flowers takes the chill off I must say! Wish I was basking in your garden ...
ReplyDeleteEmma your garden is absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteyou have had some wonderful cards so far but I think this is my favourite..thanks for your bright card
ReplyDeletelove the card. our flowers are "just" hanging on. my husband made mixture of crazy soup made from hot peppers and chili powder ( his own recipe) to spray on our plants. This "natural bug spray" made his eyes water and clogged the sprayer. so far the plants are still alive...to soon to know how the bugs made out.
